What We Cover

Fast support for internal home emergencies with one simple membership.

Home Guard Assist is designed to help when something goes wrong inside your home and it involves danger, damage or essential service failure. We provide emergency phone triage and, where needed, urgent on-site attendance for eligible internal issues.

We keep it simple: if you’re unsure, call us first.

Internal plumbing emergencies

We help with urgent plumbing issues inside the home, including:

  • Burst internal pipes

  • Active internal leaks

  • Internal flooding caused by plumbing

  • Flexi hose failures

  • Overflowing toilet where it is the only toilet in the home

  • Internal drainage blockages (non-storm-related)

  • No running water

  • No hot water

Internal electrical emergencies

We assist with urgent internal electrical issues such as:

  • Sparking outlets

  • Burning smells from switches or power points

  • Repeated breaker tripping (not storm-related)

  • Loss of power not caused by storms or wider grid issues

Internal gas emergencies

  • e respond to urgent gas-related concerns inside the home, including:

  • Gas smell inside the home

  • Suspected leaks from internal appliances

  • Suspected leaks from internal pipework or flexi hoses

Essential service failures

  • We also help with urgent failures affecting everyday living, including:

  • Loss of power (non-storm-related)

  • Loss of water supply (not provider-related)

  • Hot water system failure

What we don’t cover

  • To keep our service clear and focused, Home Guard Assist does not cover:

  • General handyman work

  • Renovations or upgrades

  • Cosmetic repairs

  • External storm damage

  • Roof damage, gutters or external flooding

  • Non-urgent maintenance
